NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month) 2022 will all be featured on this page and is another set of Haiku's which is called 'Haiku in Bloom' where I will write at least 30 Haikus throughout April all on Nature.

(I)

Looking down a hill,

the soft breeze blows daffodils

into our faces.

(II)

The breeze welcomes

Nudging on the trees

across an early Spring walk.

(III)

Early morning breeze

pulls my scarf across the road

moving into spring.

(IV)

Waking up from sleep

two rabbits murmur softly

greeting the spring air.

(V)

Early evening

counting daffodils

after spring showers.

(VI)

Singing in the rain

the birds shortly follow you

over the rooftops.

(VII)

Following the horse

she stops to set her mare free

across the meadows.

(VIII)

Pausing in the field

the fowl doesn’t know where to run

while its parents feed.

(IX)

Early Spring night

middle of forest is filled

with one swallows cry.

(X)
Etched by butterflies
the flowers are covered in
just a few seconds.

(XI)
Covered in snow
Nature leaves snow in the woods
Spring is not here yet.

(XII)

Unsettling the birds

they nearly start flying south

when it starts to snow.

(XIII)

A Squirrel run next

to you slowly walking through

the spring countryside.

(XIV)

Tidying the garden

your Dad's Tulips come to life

treasuring the sun.

(XV)

Playing late Cricket

the low spring sun assists you

blinding the fielders.

(XVI)

touched by spring's first rays

the sun followed us in bliss

out of the woods home.

(XVII)
Stood by the gate
the sunlight encourages
listen to the birds.

(XVIII)

Sat in the forest

away from the motorway

not another sound.

(XIX)

Sign by the exit

a choice whether to go home

and carrying on.

(XX)
Dividing the sky
the weather turns in moments
in-between shelter.

(XXI)

Recording it all

the birds take off together

embracing the sun.

(XXII)

Barely in focus
the sun dazzles you walking
out of the forest.

(XXIII)

Bearing the distance
the warmer the weather gets
the greener the hills.

(XXIV)

Far off the pathway

ducks run to you at the lake

looking for some food.

(XXV)

offering a shield
the woods offer protection
from the rising heat.

(XXVI)

Floating on by

the fractured log on water

passes in silence.

(XXVII)

First one duck then two

waits in the shadows

until it gets cooler

(XXVIII)

Counting the seconds

you watch the Swan with its head

beneath the water.

(XXIX)

Descending slowly

the light doesn't fade from the sky

after dusk for hours.

(XXX)

Finding happiness

love is expanded facing

the sun together.
