New release from Ocean in a Bottle - approaching Stretford

https://oceaninabottle.bandcamp.com/album/approaching-stretford-2024-remix

This is the first new full-length release for the year from Ocean in a Bottle (My Ambient band), a reimaging of the very first Ocean in a Bottle rapidly approaching its 10th anniversary, Approaching Stretford.

As an artist born and bred in Stretford, in 2014 I finally moved away and this EP was a Piano exorcism of places and memories I walked down and saw in some cases for the last time back then.

In 2024, this EP was revisited and completely remixed bringing it into line with what came out afterwards to provide a much more fully ambient-based experience.

For 2024, Hicc’s Distance kindly provided two new remixes stripping the tracks further down to highlight the sadness that always was at the heart of this release.

Pay what you want.
